Doc is a tremendous ranch dog, working here on the ranch where we have Registered Angus cattle. Doc has an amazing presence with lots of power to work both heads and heels as the need arises, yet he has plenty of finesse to work sheep and ducks in a trial situation. Although he is young in his trialing endeavors, he has already won Most Promising Aussie in a trial and made a statement at the 2021 ASCA Nationals by placing first in cattle, third in ducks, and fourth in sheep in the Open class, as well as winning the High Combined Open dog in the Pre-Trial.
Doc has an amazing personality and enjoys being by my side as much as possible! However, he is very amicably worked/handled by many different people with great ease!
His breeding is mostly Twin Oaks with some Windong, 45 Ranch, and Slash V dogs in the background. He is sired by Vinny who was a Cattle Finals Champion and out of the infamous dam Oakley who is one of only four (and the only living) Supreme Stockdog Champion!
